Here's a simple graphic that illustrates the difference between Digital Advertising buying model on the Google YouTube platform versus buying in TV advertising.
TV is a three way marketplace, YouTube is a direct to advertiser model.
Google offers better, clearer metrics than TV can offer but there's low trust in the system. When illustrated in this way, trying to make Google more like TV with similar measurement and verification isn't the answer to brand safety concerns.
